Timbavati is a private reserve located west of the Kruger National Park, with which it shares an unfenced border, allowing animals to move freely and guaranteeing remarkable wildlife diversity.
Timbavati spans more than 50,000 hectares of expansive wooded grasslands that you'll discover on spectacular safaris led by experienced guides. Experience unforgettable moments close to Africa's Big 5 (lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant and buffalo).
The reserve is particularly renowned for its white lions, an exceptionally rare and endangered species native to the region. These white lions were discovered in the 1970s before disappearing for many years, only to reappear in 2006.
These wild lands are also home to African wild dogs, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, hyenas and over 350 bird species. Photography enthusiasts will return with extraordinary images.
