Muizenberg
This surfers' village is a unique blend. A stop at the beach is essential to see its colourful beach huts, watch surfers riding the waves, and experience the magic of Muizenberg.

Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve
At the tip of the Cape Peninsula, amid spectacular landscapes and rocky coastlines, lies Cape Point, formerly known as the Cape of Storms. The point is part of the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, and visitors to the reserve can expect to see wildlife including ostriches, baboons, Cape zebras, as well as over 250 bird species and indigenous flora found nowhere else in the world.
Once parked, ascend either by the Flying Dutchman funicular or on foot for spectacular views. Stop along the way at one of the viewpoints and make your way up to the lighthouse.
Chapman's Peak Drive
Continue on the scenic Chapman's Peak Drive, one of the most picturesque roads, carved into the rocky mountain that winds along the Atlantic Ocean. Linking Noordhoek to Hout Bay, Chapman's Peak is a 9-kilometre stretch with 114 curves offering ever-changing panoramic views. Several parking areas and viewpoints are found along the route, where you can stop, admire this superb and unique landscape.
Chapman's Peak is a toll road, accessed from the Hout Bay side as you arrive.
Hout Bay
This region takes its name from the abundance of yellowwood trees. In the 1600s, the first Dutch settlers found these trees in the ravines. Hout Bay boasts a picturesque fishing harbour, shops and restaurants, and on weekends the Hout Bay harbour market is well worth a visit.
